Business software for UAE companies, from a team ninety minutes ahead
India is an hour and a half ahead of the UAE, so our working day and yours almost coincide. We build operations software, CRM and ERP integrations, eCommerce and AI features for businesses across the Emirates.
Codemites is headquartered in Srinagar, India, with a second office in Mississauga, Canada. We have no office in the UAE; we work with clients here remotely. India is an hour and a half ahead of the UAE, so our working days almost coincide.
Of all the markets on these pages, the UAE has the easiest working rhythm with us. Our Srinagar office opens at 7:30 am UAE time and closes at 5:30 pm, so calls, reviews and quick fixes happen within your normal day.
Most UAE projects we scope start with operations rather than apps: an ERP that does not talk to the online store, a CRM nobody updates, invoices typed up by hand. With e-invoicing becoming mandatory from 2027, that work now has a deadline.
What is changing for UAE businesses
Two of these have dates attached. Check the details with your tax adviser or legal counsel; we handle the software side.
E-invoicing from 2027
The Ministry of Finance is phasing in mandatory e-invoicing through accredited service providers. Businesses with revenue of AED 50 million or more go live on 1 January 2027, and those below that threshold on 1 July 2027. Your ERP or billing system needs to produce invoices in the required format and pass them to your provider.

Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 sets the framework for processing personal data, whether inside or outside the country, and came into force on 2 January 2022. We record what personal data each feature uses and why.

Companies in the DIFC follow DIFC Data Protection Law No. 5 of 2020, which sets its own rules on handling personal data and is consistent with EU and UK regulation. If you are in a free zone, tell us which one so we design to its rules.

Questions UAE businesses ask
Can you get our invoicing ready for e-invoicing?
We can change your ERP or billing system to produce invoices in the required structured format and pass them to your accredited service provider. Choosing the provider and confirming your tax position stays with you and your tax adviser.
Do you build Arabic interfaces?
Yes. We build right-to-left layouts properly, with mirrored navigation, Arabic typography and bidirectional text, rather than translating an English layout. The Arabic copy comes from your translator.
What hours do you work in UAE time?
Our Srinagar office works 9 am to 7 pm India time, which is 7:30 am to 5:30 pm in the UAE, Monday to Friday. Neither country changes its clocks, so this holds all year.
Do you have an office in the UAE?
No. We work with UAE clients remotely from Srinagar, India, and from our office in Mississauga, Canada.
