Agriculture & AgriTech
AgriTech software built for the field, not only the office
Farm management, crop monitoring, market access and traceability tools that work in local languages, on inexpensive phones and with very little signal.
Work out what post-harvest loss costs you
Close to the ground
A whole season's work can be lost in the weeks after harvest.
A grower spends months on one crop. It ripens well. Then the truck comes late, the buyer offers a low price because nobody nearby knows any better, and part of the harvest spoils in storage. A year of work and risk comes down to a few days, and a few phone calls.
Small farms grow a large share of the world's food on a small share of its land, often without the information that big buyers take for granted. Useful AgriTech closes that gap. It has to be simple enough to use with muddy hands, and honest about what it can't do.

- 14%of the world's food is lost between harvest and retail, before it reaches a shop.FAO, reported by IFT, 2019
- 35%of the world's food is grown by farms under two hectares, on just 12% of farmland.FAO, 2021
- 5 in 6farms in the world are smaller than two hectares.FAO, 2021
- 19%of food produced is then wasted at retail, in food service and in homes.UNEP Food Waste Index, 2024
What we build
Agriculture software and farm app development that survives real conditions
A good farm tool earns its place one season at a time. We prefer starting small with one crop and region, and proving it works before anything grows.
Farmer apps
Crop calendars, advice, weather and record-keeping in local languages, with voice and offline support.
Mobile Apps DevelopmentFarm management systems
Fields, inputs, labour, machinery and costs, so that you know what each crop really earns.
Software DevelopmentMarket and input platforms
Connect growers directly with buyers and suppliers, with clear prices, quality grades and payments.
Website DevelopmentCrop and soil monitoring
Satellite, drone and IoT sensor data turned into a plain recommendation, with photo-based pest identification.
AI DevelopmentTraceability
Batch tracking from field to shelf, for food safety, certification and export buyers.
Software DevelopmentCold chain and storage
Temperature alerts and stock tracking that give you warning before produce spoils.
Software Development
What farm software has to cope with
A clever feature is worthless if it doesn't work in the field. These are the requirements we start with.
- Offline by default
- Records and advice work with no signal, and data syncs when the farmer is back in range.
- Local language and low literacy
- Icons, voice and regional languages, tested with real users in the field.
- GlobalG.A.P. and export rules
- Records and traceability organised around the certifications that your buyers ask for.
- Farmer data ownership
- Clear consent over who sees yields and prices. Trust is hard to win back once broken.
How an AgriTech project runs
Go to the farm
We talk to growers and field officers before drawing a single screen.
Pick one crop, one region
A narrow start gives you advice and data that are actually accurate.
Test through a season
A real crop cycle reveals what no prototype can, including network and device problems.
Scale through partners
Cooperatives, field officers and buyers help the tool spread on trust.
Agriculture & AgriTech: common questions
How much does an agriculture app cost to build?
A record-keeping or advisory app costs much less than a marketplace with payments, logistics and sensors. Tap through the brief on this page and we will send you an estimate.
Can the app work without internet?
Yes. We build for offline use from the first day, storing data on the phone and syncing it when a connection is available.
Will farmers actually use it?
Only if it pays them back quickly. We test with real growers in their language, keep the first version very simple, and usually work through trusted field officers or cooperatives.
Can you work with IoT sensors and drones?
Yes. We connect soil, weather and cold-chain sensors, as well as drone or satellite imagery, and turn the data into simple recommendations.
Can you build traceability for food exports?
Yes. We build batch-level records from field to shipment, with the documents that buyers and certifiers ask for. A certifier still carries out any formal audit.
How accurate is AI crop advice?
It depends on the local data available and on the crop. We treat AI suggestions as a starting point, measure them against local agronomists, and show farmers how confident the system is.
